Servicedesk Engineer - Belgium

As a servicedesk engineer at Barca, you will be working in a dynamic and motivated B2B Support team. You will support users in big IT environments at fortune 500 companies. That way, you can maintain and expand your technical know-how.

What’s in the job?

• You are responsible for the day to day management of the IT environment for one of our customers
• You configure and install systems and make sure they are operational.
• Being customer minded is very important to you and you offer the necessary support for requests and incidents at our customers. This way you make sure that interruption of the IT environment is prevented or limited.
• You manage IMAC (Install/Move/Add/Change) requests to provide the necessary IT support to the customer.
• You are able to develop small scripts and processes, to make solutions as quick and easy as possible for our customer.
• Documentation, instructions, procedures and knowledge are things you keep up-to-date on a permanent basis.

Who are we looking for?

• You have a bachelor degree in IT or equal true experience.
• IT environments are a real passion for you and you have the ambition to grow yourself and your knowledge.
• Experience at an IT service desk and/or on-site support are a plus (but not mandatory).
• You have solid technical knowledge of IT hardware, Windows and Office.
• You speak fluent Dutch, French and English.
• You are social, communicative and customer minded.
• Your place to work is Leuven, Hasselt, Brussels or Antwerp. Movements to our customers are part of the job.
